Who we are
About Massapequa Asbestos Removal
An abatement outfit that takes the paperwork as seriously as the poly sheeting, so neither one becomes the reason your project waits.
Where the Checklist Came From
Massapequa Asbestos Removal started after watching the same thing happen job after job: jobs stalling over asbestos for reasons that had little to do with the tear-out itself. A permit sat because one report never got filed. A crew mobilized before the notice went in. A remodel restarted before anybody read the air. The material was only half the trouble. The sequence was the other half.
So every job here runs off a checklist. Sample first, so nothing is pulled on a guess. Put the scope and the filings on paper before poly goes up. Build the enclosure with taped penetrations and HEPA suction, mist the material as it comes down and bag it for a licensed landfill. Then wipe down, bring in an outside firm for the air test and hand back a room the next trade can actually use.
That checklist habit comes from our government and municipal project work, where inspectors check each step against the rules. A Massapequa basement gets held to the same standard as a public building.
The Job We Set for Ourselves
Take asbestos off the critical path of your project. In practice that means plain findings about what turned up, filings made in the sequence the agencies expect, tear-outs that keep fibers inside the enclosure and a room that is passed, documented and ready for the next trade when we pack up.
How We Differ From the Next Outfit
Public-sector track record
Our crews have completed asbestos work on government and municipal projects, where every procedure gets a second look.
Filings are part of the contract
Notices, assessment reports and stop work order paperwork run alongside the removal rather than landing on your desk.
Sampling ahead of tear-out
An accredited lab report sets the scope, so you never pay to pull material that never needed it.
Enclosures built right
Poly walls, taped penetrations, HEPA suction and misting on every single removal.
Outside air testing
An independent firm has to pass the air before anyone reoccupies the room.
Phones staffed 24/7
Pipe breaks and fires ignore office hours, so our phone does too.
